Effective October 1st, the Schulz Group, which also includes the Bamberg-based plant manufacturer Kaspar Schulz, acquired the Esau & Hueber company based in Schrobenhausen, Germany.
"With this acquisition we want to expand our existing competence in order to be able to offer our customers integrated system solutions for the processing of raw materials to beer, malt and whiskey", explains Johannes Schulz-Hess, owner of the Schulz Group, the background and adds "This opens up completely new possibilities for us and the industry".
Esau & Hueber is also very pleased with the new partnership. "With the Schulz Group we have found the perfect partner to secure the future of our company. The location in Schrobenhausen will be maintained, the jobs of our 47 employees will be secured and our product portfolio, especially in the brewery and pharmaceutical sector, will be ideally complemented", says Christoph Sedlaczek, Managing Director of Esau & Hueber. The activities in the field of process automation and the successful pharmaceutical segment of the long-established Schrobenhausen-based company will be further developed in the future and the know-how in the yeast and aeration sector as well as in the
plant construction for the cold block of breweries will be further expanded at Kaspar Schluz.
With the takeover of Esau & Hueber, the Schulz Group, which in addition to Kaspar Schulz also includes the company Hinke Tankbau in Vöcklamarkt, Austria, and the company Künzel Maschinenbau in Mainleus,Germany, grows to 375 employees and an annual turnover of approx. 60 million euros.
